Nydia is on the community advisory board for the Asian American Women's Coalition and volunteers for the Lung Cancer Research Foundation in memory of her mother.

Nydia is a mom, trying really, really hard to teach her two young children to speak Korean.  She enjoys good food, good wine, and most of all, a good laugh.
